Oh Deer!

The deer like to come into the yard and snack on our hedge. Little rascals...

Random ramblings at 3am...

Just sitting here at about 3am and I just get this idea into my head that maybe I should update my Blog...I mean gee it sure has been awhile! So let's see, it's been a couple months now since I have last posted and I guess a few things must have happened since then. Let me try to remember them...

As of last month I have started taking a TEFL course. For those of you who do not know what TEFL stands for, TEFL=teaching English as a foreign language. I am taking my course through I-to-I online and it's going pretty good so far. My mom has also decided to take the course. She started it about 1 or 2 weeks (I think?) after I started it. She's been wanting me to get back to my Blog, but I just haven't had the inspiration or something, who knows.

The very end of last month, Feb. 27th to be exact, Becky became a new mommy! She had 8 pups, 7 of which survived, and they are absolutely adorable! I will most definitely have to post some photos of the puppies at a later date. I kind of want to wait for them to be bigger and more lively before I make a day of taking photos of them. Mom has taken quite a few photos already so I am not really fussing about it.

Well...I really should be getting to bed now, so I think I might do just that. First I will post a couple of photos I took of the deer eating the hedge in our front yard! Goodnight everyone...

Back in the Miramichi

Well I have made it back to New Brunswick safe and sound...
The first weekend home my brothers and I went up to Sussex to our grandparent`s house until Monday. We had a nice time there. Me, shopping with my grandmother, and the boys doing stuff with gramps in the woods and helping gran out with the dishes...hehe. Now don`t get me wrong...I helped out gran too...haha. So Monday afternoon we headed back up to the Miramichi. It was a looooong trip with the boys carrying on in the back of the van...hehe. On Tuesday mom and I had a nice day together. Mom made soup and I sat and talked to her. In the evening we all had devotions together. We`re reading the book ``Worldliness`` together by C.J. Mahaney. It`s a really good book. Although, I think all of us ``kids`` are finding the chapters a little long. Today mom and I sat and had coffee and talked about her African adventures and misadventures. In the afternoon we called Straus and Sanette in South Africa. We had a really nice chat with them. Mom totally misses them, so do I. Well I had better go because mom is talking to me now. Until next time...
